Amtgard
is a not for profit medieval recreation group. We also incorporate sword and sorcery fantasy elements into our events. Events
include battle games fought with safe foam padded weapons. Particpants are required to wear medieval garb. Particpants may choose a "class" to play that has special abilities. We have wizards,
warriors, barbarians, scouts, and more.
In addition to fighting, we offer various arts and sciences workshops througout the
year. We also have quite a few members who wear garb and work on projects each week. Most are willing to teach and answer
questions about their craft.
New people are always welcome! If you have questions please ask them. We do
have loner garb and weapons available to use for free during your first few meetings.
